ABSTRACT:
This document specifies an ontology for describing a physical network. This ontology can be used by intelligent devices to publish information about their existence and state.

This ontology encompasses measurements made by sensors within a network and the storage and processing of measurements.

This ontology is intended to enable the use of inferencing to support activities carried out upon a network, including operations and maintenance.
